FREE ENTRY HSRCA 2025 Return to Goulburn at One Raceway

Spectator entry is FREE to this first historic race meeting for 2025, and the inaugural HSRCA event at the new One Raceway track – formerly known as Wakefield Park – on Saturday 1st and Sunday 2nd February.

Celebrating three decades of HSRCA-powered historic motorsport in Goulburn with featured events to also celebrate the 60th anniversary of Formula Vee in Australia. Come along to enjoy edge-of-your-seat racing excitement and get up close and personal to the competitors and cars in a way that’s unparalleled by other motorsport events.

There’ll be action at every corner, lots of overtaking and a wide variety of cars, each with their own sounds and handling characteristics. It’s raw, noisy, fast and thrilling, which is how motorsport should be, and the reason why historics are one of the fastest growing sectors in motor racing.

The Historic Sports and Racing Car Association of NSW is one of Australia’s leading car clubs catering specifically for historic racing, sports and touring cars. 30 years ago the Founding HSRCA Member Paul Samuels and his partner John Carter opened Wakefield Park in Goulburn, and the club conducted the inaugural Historic Racing event there.

Private practice for competitors is available on Friday the 31st and the club looks forward to welcoming spectators on Sat 1st and Sunday 2nd February.

Goulburn Farmers Market dates for 2024

The Goulburn Farmers Market is a brand new cooperative venture promoting local producers and makers, and for the public to discover the best foods of the region. This is a monthly event.

The Goulburn Farmers Market has a community vibe with local entertainers among the stallholders, good coffee, small workshops on how to grow food, beekeeping and making compost.

Goulburn Farmers Market started with a conversation among Goulburn residents about the desirability of obtaining fresh local farm produce. The region has a long history of farming. Many small farms still have heritage orchards which produce wonderful fruit though not in large enough numbers to take advantage of modern supply chains. Small growers often have surplus with no outlet other than friends and neighbours.

And so the idea of a Goulburn Farmers Market was born in the hope of providing locally grown, fresh, affordable food to local consumers, with the added benefits of: low food miles, less packaging, less chemicals and preservatives and sustainable practices.
