Christmas Puddings at The Midge

The Midge at Tallong are taking orders for their Christmas puddings now!
Orders must be made by 1st of December and can be picked up in the week leading up to Christmas (exact date TBC).
They have 2 sizes to choose from:
Standard | Serves 10 | $35.00 – Minimum of 500 grams of fruit per pudding
Large | Serves 20 | $55.00 – Minimum of 1kg of fruit per pudding
Plus Midge-Made traditional real brandy and egg custard – 500ml | $12.00

The recipe is Sharon’s family treasure. She was given it as a teenager from the beloved late Grace Donaldson making a recipe that is at least 4 generations old. Sharon has had the same piece of paper that Mrs Donaldson wrote all those years ago, scribbled on, damaged and reeking of brandy.
Their puddings are made with brandy and rum soaked fruit and boiled in a traditional calico cloth. All you need to do is finish boiling for a period of time before serving and you will have the freshest, moistest Christmas pudding possible.
