Community Grants Available 2024-2025

Kristy McBain, our local Member for Eden-Monaro has published a November 2024 edition of the Eden-Monaro Grants Bulletin which is now available online. This latest edition provides details of more than 400 grants, scholarships, and funding rounds from Local Government, the NSW Government, and the Australian Government, including private and philanthropic grants. Grant funding is available to assist individuals and organisations such as community groups, sports clubs, schools, students, researchers, small businesses, and farmers. These grants can benefit our whole community and Kristy is keen to see as many of them as possible come to Eden-Monaro. As new grant opportunities and funding rounds become available, Kristy plans to highlight them in future bulletins. Get Your High Vis On and Keep Marulan Tidy!

Did you know we have a group of volunteers, organised by the Marulan & District Progress Association who hold a regular working bee on George Street, Marulan, when needed throughout the year? We need more volunteers! The working bee mow path verges and tidy up the streetscape. It keeps our village looking beautiful, is a great way to get out and about, do something useful in our community and make new friends. All equipment/high vis vests are supplied. Volunteers will be inducted on health and safety by Goulburn Mulwaree Council at a date TBC between December 2024 – January 2025 as part of the Tidy Towns initiative.  If you’re interested or just want to find out more, please call John Blanch 0412 002 890 a.s.a.p.
